Discipline Calendar

practice mental arithmetic: Calendrical calculation - calculation of weekdays

The aim is to calculate the weekday of a given date as quickly as possible in your head. The base is the internationally used Gregorian calendar (according to Pope Gregory XIII). The calendar was introduced at the end of the 16th century due to a calendar reform. Under Calendrical Calculation Method you will find a description of how to calculate a date.

There are different disciplines:

  • Weekdays - these are all years beginning with 1600 - 2099.
  • Current century - as the name implies, only data from the current century.
  • Current year - as the name suggests, only data from the current year.

There are two different lengths, 1 minute and 5 minutes. The better you get, the higher will be your level.
